Restoring Quarantined Items

If you suspect a file detected by Systweak Antivirus is a false positive, you can easily restore it from the quarantine list.

To do so, follow these steps:

  • Launch Systweak Antivirus.

  • Click the three horizontal lines present in the left pane > Settings.

  • Click Quarantine List under Scan.

  • Here, you will see all the quarantined threats.

    Detected and Deleted threats

  • You can restore quarantined files using either of the three options -

    Select the file you wish to put back and hit Restore

    Restore Link -This is a straightforward way to restore files individually. Simply click the link and the job is done.

    Select the file you wish to put back and hit Restore

    Restore Selected -Use this button to Select the files you want to restore. This is beneficial when you want to restore multiple files.

    Restore All -If you don’t know which file to restore, simply use this button to restore all quarantined files.

  • After deciding which option to use, confirm the action and restore quarantined files.

    Select the file you wish to put back and hit Restore

  • Note: To view quarantined files restored through Systweak Antivirus, click View Restore Details. When you restore quarantined files, you can add them to a White List to avoid detection. However, do so only when you are sure the file is safe.
